I learned to play squash this weekend. Dan bought me a raquet a few weeks ago, and I finally took it out for a use. I'm not too bad - and it's great exercise. Plus, there is something truly motivating about slamming that little black ball as hard as you can. We played on Saturday and Sunday - boy did my body ache.
I hit the craft store again and purchased more paints, stencils and wooden boxes. I've always loved jewelry boxes - so i'm hoping I can make some purrty ones.
i'm not writing well today. i keep spelling this wrong. signing off.

do you remember when dan wanted to join ... umm.. (can't remember what it was - like a gym or something) JUST so he could play squash? LOL - funny man.
sounds like a blast -
you know what i miss? volleyball. i miss the hardcore workouts, sweating like a pig..
i think my problem is that any and all exercise that i used to get was completely sports related and driven with a team or for some sort of goal. like winning maybe? -basically it was fun. now, it seems that between treadmills, sit-ups and whatever other shit i should be doing.. i feel is nonsense -probably because there's no team; there's no fun in it. it's redickulously repetitive and boring. does that make any sense?
blazzie blahhhhhh
yeah, i remember it was super expensive. cornell is a big squash school. there are 3 courts - one is like a cajillion dollar facility that was just blt. haven't been there yet.
it's a good point. as we get older our options to play sports seem slimmer. you should check out sportsvite.com
