Hi Y'All

so i've been sitting at this frigging desk since like 7 am and i'm tired. i can't believe how quickly this week flew by. i seriously haven't had a chance to do anything. i have a load of laundry that's been sitting in the washing machine - all wet - for like 3 days. let's not even get into my office. a quarter of it is covered by newspapers and magazines. then there is the bra I pulled off today while i was working. god damn repressive thing.

so, i'm reading this fabulous book by Terry McMillan called The Interruption of Everything. i love it. it just has such an easy going writing flow. i have to admit, the front cover is awful. for such an acclaimed (popular) writer, you'd think they'd give her top designer.

i have to go see a movie this weekend. i've been saying it for like the last three weeks and then i do too much on saturday morning and am too tired to go. i really would like to see match point. i have to put togehter the new desk chair i purchased last weekend. it was too big to fit into either of our cars.

i had weird dreams last night. i rarely dream about my mother, but this was some major stuff, which I can only recall bits and pieces. i need to take some alone time and put it all together. gosh, i miss her so much.

it's scary to look at her pictures and realize that her face is becoming a memory to me. i can never begin to explain how that feels. it just eats away at me. one day i will not remember her laugh lines or the way her eyes looked when she woke up in the morning. signing off.
