Clumsy, Clumsy, Clumsy

I dropped Moo off at the neurologist this morning for a consult. He has to hang out there for the entire day. Poor little bubby. He loves it tho'.

So I had the strangest thoughts this weekend. I decided to do away with my DVD cases and merge them with Dan's in a DVD book. Then, I decided to do away with my CD cases. Dan was shocked and said he would buy me any leather-bound case I wanted if I did this. I went off to Target (yet again, it seems like every weekend I have to go there) and bought a nice brown 208 CD case holder along with some other household staples like lighbulbs, dog food, scotch tape...I started alphabetizing yesterday early evening and by 9 am I had successfully entered A-O in my news book. I underestimated the amount of CD's I have. I definitely need another full book. I set along a stack to give away or sell as well. I cleared up some space for more of my books, which seem to be everywhere.

Yesterday was a beautiful day. The flowers have begun to bloom, but there isn't a leaf on a tree in site. We hit the Cayuga Lake Waterfront Trail yesterday, which runs along two Parks - Cass and the Treman Marine Park - basically the opposite side of the Farmer's Market. The day before Baby and I walked our usual Cornell Plantations loop and I noticed that he got very close to the Six Mile Creek. (Shannon - you know how unusual this is). The dog is petrified of water. I shrugged it off, but when we hit the Waterfront, he started drinking from the lake - and wouldn't stop! Perhaps he could have been thirsty from the lox I've been feeding him. Who knows, this dog just liked drinking that water. In fact, he insisted on walking the edge of the lake.

So last week was a particularly clumsy week for me. As I walked the dogs along the little walkway near the playground in the back, my ankle gave out and I fell flat on my face. Moo was of course thinking, "I'm the one that's paralyzed and this bitch just fell on her face." Baby decided to go over the the foreign women who saw me fall and were exclaiming something of schock and horror in a language I couldn't decipher. First he nuzzled up to one women, then he pretended he was scared of her, then he tried to get into her house. Me - well, I was embarassed and couldn't wait to get away. The outcome? A big fat bruise on my right knee and massive full-body aches the next day. So strange. On Saturday as I was mopping the kitchen floor, the back of my foot hit the foot lever of the garbage can. I yelped, but shrugged it off. Later I realized that the back of my foot was all bloody. I had cut open my heel.

Any takers on Kinsey? Full-front Sarsgaard. Not really impressive, but he's still a cutie. I just love to watch him on screen. What a cast - Liam Neeson, Chris O'Donnell, Timothy Hutton, Laura Linney (just love her), Oliver Platt...Really enjoyed the film.

Yesterday we went to Lowe's and I purchased som cucumber, tomato, basil and chive seeds. Hopefully, I will get to them this week. More hobbies for me.

Still hooked on 24.

Dan and I have both been having lots of trouble sleeping. Argh...

Signing off for now. Lots of Hot List additions coming soon.
